Geese are very social and intelligent animals. For a goose hunt to be successful, strategic preparation and skill are required. Because if the hunter makes mistakes during the hunt, the geese react immediately and the desired success does not materialize.

In this one-day seminar, we combine theory and practice. We will provide you with comprehensive knowledge about the behavior and migration routes of geese, the appropriate equipment, shot sizes, chokes and decoy methods as well as the legal framework and nature conservation aspects. One focus is on planning and setting up an effective decoy pattern, camouflage and site selection so that you can proceed in a targeted manner in practice.

In the practical part, we work on your shooting technique under realistic conditions. You will practise shots from a lying position, test different positions and learn to anticipate the movements of crows or geese. Four practice fields with varying degrees of difficulty and differently designed clay pigeon layouts enable realistic hunting scenarios, including high, moving targets and tricky approaches. Around 100 clay pigeons per participant ensure sufficient practical experience and are ideal for optimizing the hit rate, timing, procedure and safety when goose hunting.

As a rule, you shoot with your own weapon: 100 shots are included in the price. Additional ammunition and clay targets can be purchased on site. The event lasts from approx. 08:00 to 17:00.

A maximum of ten participants guarantee safe supervision by experienced trainers. Lunch is included in the price.
