GUIDED TOUR OF THE FORMER
ALLERENGELBERG CARTHUSIAN MONASTERY in Karthaus
From 1326 to 1782, the Allerengelberg Carthusian Monastery was located in Karthaus. It was abandoned under Emperor Joseph II, but the spirit of the monks lives on in the cloister. During the tour of the monastery, participants will learn about art-historical and architectural features and gain insight into the daily life and work of the Carthusian monks.

must be completed by 12:00 PM on the same day at the reception desk or at the Schnalstal Tourist Office
Duration: approximately 1 hour.
