Hike Schleier Waterfall - Tuxerjochhaus

Hintertux- Schleierwasserfall-Weitental- Tuxerjoch Haus- Sommerberg - Hintertux

We take the hiking bus towards Hintertux, where we start our hike to the Tuxerjoch Haus. On narrow mountain paths we walk up to the beautiful Schleier waterfall, our path leads us directly past the waterfall, so we can observe it from below and above. We then reach the Weitental valley, where we are sure to see some marmots. At the Tuxerjoch Haus we can fortify ourselves with a good snack, and then it's down to the Sommerberg. From there we can take the train back to Hintertux. If you wish, you can of course walk back to Hintertux.

Character: Medium hike +820m uphill and -200m or -820m downhill

Duration: approx. 4h pure walking time, total approx. 5.5h (day hike)
