Hotel Rehbach sustainability concept
In 2012, the Barbist family took over the Rehbach and turned the former *** country hotel into a place of peace and relaxation with a varied program of activities. Prior to this, hosts Martin and Margit Barbist gained years of experience in the Austrian hotel and catering industry and know how to apply this perfectly in the new nature resort. With a lot of love and personal style, the former "Rehbacher Weinstube" has been transformed into a tranquil nature resort, but the final step has certainly not yet been taken. Because we want to continue to surprise and inspire our guests and team at the Rehbach with new things. A brief introduction to our development steps:
- 2012: the Barbist family takes over the Landhotel Rehbach
- 2014: the tranquillity hotel and nature resort is created
- 2016: the wellness area is expanded
- 2018: we create 7 new panorama rooms
- 2020: 24 new rooms, hotel bar, parlours, sun terrace, relaxation room, yoga room created;
- 2021: natural bathing pond and garden area & certification as an öst. Ecolabel hotel;
- 2022: Photovoltaic system hotel building
- 2023: Photovoltaic system stable building
- 2025: Successful recertification with the Eu Ecolabel & Eastern Ecolabel
- 2026: We keep you up to date....
Idyllic. Natural. Authentic. - With us, the name keeps its promise.
Our hotel is located in an idyllic valley, far away from the metropolises and noisy centers of the conurbations, but closer to nature, to the silence, to the vastness of the landscape. You can hear many things in the surrounding meadows and at the edge of the forest, but no disturbing car noise. Here you have to be quiet, take a deep breath and calm down. Then you can hear it - the babbling of the mountain stream, the chirping of the birds and the buzzing of the bees. That is why it is important to us to preserve this paradise in all its splendor and effect - for us, for our children and for you - our guests. At the Naturhotel Rehbach, we therefore pay attention to sustainable management.
We would like to pass on this operating philosophy to our guests, employees and the locals of the region and give them an appreciation of nature, peace & quiet and sustainability. Our vision is to create a sustainable oasis of tranquillity for adults and to continuously develop this further.
