Medium to challenging panoramic tour to the Penkenjoch
Start at the hotel in the direction of Finkenberg, turn left shortly before entering Finkenberg in the direction of Persal
Continue up via Astegg to Gschößwandhaus, past the Kasermandl Alm on the Penken
continue towards Granatkapelle/Granatalm and to the Wanglalm (2128 m above sea level)
from here downhill (don't go too fast) directly to the hotel
Prerequisites: good previous mountain bike experience and safe downhill technique.
‼️Nicht suitable for beginners!
Tour dates:
🕒↔ Riding time: approx. 4 h
↔ Kilometres: approx. 29 km
🏔️↑Altitude: approx. 1200 m
🚴 🚴Character: moderate to difficult
Trail surface: asphalt, mainly gravel
Equipment: A change of T-shirt, water bottle, sun protection, rain/wind jacket, snack, cash for a possible refreshment stop.
