Time travel - Manufactory of dreams

A particularly worthwhile excursion from Oberwiesenthal is to Annaberg-Buchholz to the Manufaktur der Träume. The journey time of around 30 minutes is absolutely worth it - because here you can expect a weather-independent experience for summer and winter that will delight children and adults alike.

In the Manufaktur der Träume, you can immerse yourself in the fascinating world of historical toys. You can see lovingly carved wooden figures, doll's houses, old toys and folk art from the Ore Mountains that children played with many decades ago. A visit to the museum here almost feels like a journey back in time.

Especially family-friendly: there is a small play area for children right at the entrance where they can try out and play to their heart's content. In addition, there is an exciting puzzle for children that playfully accompanies the museum tour - pens and tasks are available at the ticket desk.

After the museum visit, the Café Schokogusch'l, which is directly accessible from the museum, is the perfect place for a sweet break with the whole family.
