Info hour on the Stubai Glacier with optional hike - only in good weather

Meeting point: Tuesday between 8.7. and 2.9. at 11:00 am at the Eisgrat mountain station (beach flag INFOSTUNDE)

Joint ascent to the "Top of Tyrol" summit platform (depending on weather conditions). During the Infostunde you will learn everything you need to know about the world of glaciers (duration approx. 1 hour). The information session is held in German.

Afterwards for all hiking enthusiasts:

Joint descent to the Eisgrat mountain station, followed by a short break in the area of the Eisgrat mountain station

Hike Eisgrat 2,900 m - middle station 2.300 m

On the joint hike with the hiking guide along the glacier trail to the Fernau middle station at 2,300 m, our guests gain in-depth insights into the topic of glaciers (glacier levels, marginal moraines, glacier lakes,...). Duration approx. 1.5 hours.

For all those who are very fast on foot, there is also the option:

Hike middle station 2,300 m - valley station 1,750 m

From the middle station, there is the option of descending into the valley on the beautiful trail with the hiking guide or taking the gondola down. Duration approx. 1.5 hours.

We recommend sturdy footwear, weatherproof clothing and sun protection for the hike. Suitable for young and old, excursionists and hikers. Free admission for the information session and hike (provided you have a valid lift ticket).
