Barista beginner workshop - Discover the art of coffee (maximum 10 participants)
Welcome to our barista workshop for beginners! In this course, you will immerse yourself in the fascinating world of coffee and learn the basics of making your own perfect espresso or cafe crema.
We start with the most important ingredient: the coffee bean. You will learn about the differences between Arabica and Robusta, what to look out for when roasting and how the beans affect freshness and taste.
We will then turn our attention to the grind and grinder - because a well-balanced espresso can only be achieved with the right grind. You will learn how to optimally adjust your grinder and why a few seconds can make all the difference.
Afterwards, you will learn how to use the portafilter machine: from the correct tamping (pressing on the coffee grounds) to the optimal extraction time and cleaning the machine.
The workshop is rounded off with the topic of milk froth. You will practise how to froth milk - fine-pored, creamy and perfect for your first cappuccino, just like in a café. It may not be enough for latte art yet, but the foundation will be laid.
