WINTER HIKE TO THE RODENECKER ALM

The groomed hiking trail leads us from the hamlet of Ellen, which we reach with the

bus route 424 from St. Lorenzen, to the Rodenecker Alm. We

enjoy the breathtaking view of the Dolomites (UNESCO World Heritage Site)

and the main Alpine ridge - a natural spectacle in a class of its own.

After stopping off at a rustic mountain hut, we hike across

the expansive plateau to the Zumis parking lot and return to the starting point by

public transport.
