Summit tour Tettensjoch

Lanersbach - Tettensjoch 2226m - Kreuzjoch - Höllensteinhütte - Lanersbach

We walk comfortably along the stream to Lanersbach, there begins the steeper climb up to the high Tettensjoch 2226m. The strenuous climb is rewarded by the beautiful view of the Zillertal at the summit. After a short rest at the summit, it's downhill to the Höllensteinhütte, where we can strengthen ourselves. From the hut we go down again via a wide forest road to the valley.

Meeting point: 08:30 at the hotel entrance

Character: Difficult hike, steep climb to the summit, descent to the Höllenstein hut via hiking trail, from the hut forest road

Ascent: +1000 vertical meters

Descent: - 1000 vertical meters

Duration: approx. 5,5h pure walking time, total approx. 6,5h

Route: Approx. 11 KM

Stop: Höllensteinhütte, towards the end of the hike, please bring a small snack!
