Always by his side: the Symphonium—his very own looping device made of Appenzell walnut. With it, he captures sounds and snippets of his own singing on stage, sparkling rhythms from his beatbox, the melodious sounds of other musical instruments, and even live audio from the audience, layering them over and alongside one another in multiple ways and combining them into new soundscapes and songs full of wit and depth.
