Pilates is a whole-body workout that primarily strengthens the deep muscle layers of the spine, trunk, abdominal wall and pelvic floor and thus your entire body center, the so-called powerhouse. Pilates is particularly suitable as a supportive therapy for chronic pain in the spine, as a complement to endurance sports, to strengthen the muscles of the trunk and back, after pregnancy to strengthen the pelvic floor and abdominal regression and tightening the silhouette.
