We begin our hike a little above St. Martin at the Karbach Höfen. First traveling along forest trail no. 36 at an easy going pace towards the Schäfer Alm. Here we turn right and continue along forest path no. 52. Once we arrive at the Jäger-Hochsitz, we again turn right and hike up a small path to reach today's destination:

The Hörneggele: at 2.127m, today's summit is not so high, but it does offer breath-taking views over the Gsieser Valley and the surrounding mountains, making everyday life seem a distant memory.

Walking time: approx. 4 hours
