Passing the Wohlgemuthalmen, you’ll soon reach Außergschlöß. From there, the trail follows the wild and romantic Gschlößbach stream into the valley. A special highlight is the picturesque rock chapel of the Nativity of Mary, which was impressively built into a massive boulder and is one of the most famous photo spots in the Hohe Tauern National Park. You then reach the historic alpine village of Innergschlöß with a magnificent view of the glacier landscape surrounding the Großvenediger.\n\nThe same hiking trail can be used for the return trip.
