The seven-member ensemble Federspiel reinterprets brass music. In the concerts, musical ability meets creativity, wit and joy of playing.
The young musicians present well-known melodies with improvised influences, their very specific sound and a dash of humor and self-irony. They do not allow themselves to be pigeonholed - Federspiel's music also includes original compositions with pop elements and arrangements of traditional Mexican music or the zither as a solo instrument.
As the title suggests, the program "Albedo" is about absorption and reflection. What this optical phenomenon means in connection with music, zeitgeist and climate change can be experienced in the unique production in the K`Hof Festsaal. The concert experience is captivating and inspires even audiences for whom this style of music is new.
