Elena Walch is a leading family-owned winery in South Tyrol, a flagship of Italian wine production and internationally renowned for its excellence.
A pioneer of quality and innovation, Elena Walch played a key role in the quality revolution of South Tyrolean winemaking, earning high recognition both locally and internationally. Originally trained as an architect, Elena Walch married into one of the region’s oldest wine-producing families, bringing with her a modern vision for the transformation of the traditional winery. Today, the company is managed by her daughters Julia and Karoline Walch, representing the fifth generation of the family.
VIGNA CASTEL RINGBERG: A prestigious vineyard and symbol of Renaissance elegance, this estate – the largest in South Tyrol – is home to award-winning wines that reveal the unmistakable character of the territory, born from the harmony of ancient geological formations and an ideal microclimate.
VIGNA KASTELAZ: The steep vineyard rises proudly with an extraordinary 63% incline and an exclusive southern exposure, overlooking the picturesque wine village of Tramin.
At the wine shops in Tramin and Castel Ringberg, visitors can purchase wines directly from the winery.
In the enchanting atmosphere of the Osteria “Castel Ringberg”, guests can savour the authentic flavours of South Tyrolean tradition.
During the summer months, visitors are welcomed for guided tours of the historic cellar or vineyard explorations, ending with an elegant and unforgettable wine tasting experience.
