On more than 6,500 square meters, a great varied experience offer for all ages was created. The atoll is the ray of sunshine on bad weather days.
The heart of the extraordinary facility is the infinity pool on the roof, the penthouse SPA to dream, the spacious Lakeside-GYM with a view of Lake Achensee and the BOULDER-Hall with 180m² climbing area. With lots of glass and light wood, the ultra-modern facility was harmoniously integrated into the lakeside landscape in the Buchau district of Maurach.
The SEE-Bad with SPORTS-Area and FAMILY Eldorado as well as three bathing platforms belonging to the area were completely redesigned. The high-quality gastronomic offer around the restaurant LAGOON, which also spoils non-swimmers, rounds off the indoor and outdoor offer.
In winter the Atoll Achensee becomes a winter wonderland and scores with an artificial ice rink including curling rink. The fence that encloses the area is opened so that the cross-country ski trail can be drawn along the lake.
In its original meaning, the word atoll stands for a ring-shaped coral island. This meaning is transferred to the new leisure complex, which appears ring-shaped in its architectural teardrop or kidney shape. The various adventure islands are arranged in a ring - hence the name atoll. This round line runs through the entire architecture - from the lamp, tables and seating to the information desks.
