The start of this joint winter hike is the valley station of the Alpendorf cable cars. From there you walk a bit along the road until you turn into a wide winter hiking trail away from the hustle and bustle. You enjoy the view over the village of St. Johann while sipping a fine cup of spruce needle tea. After about 30 minutes you will reach the Gutberg Naturhotel and turn into the tree trail. There you will learn about the native tree species in an exciting way before you warm up in the Gutberg Stadl and fortify yourself for the way back. Return the same way back to the starting point.
Meeting point start:
Every Monday, 3:30 p.m. in front of the information office of the Alpendorf gondola valley station EG (opposite Snoworld).

Sturdy shoes, warm clothing, possibly a change of clothes, sufficient liquid (water, tea).
