Kellerei Tramin is one of South Tyrol’s most renowned cooperative wineries and has been a landmark of the region’s wine culture for more than a century. Founded in 1898 in the wine village of Tramin — the birthplace of the famous Gewürztraminer grape — the winery today brings together numerous winegrowing families united by a shared commitment to quality and terroir.
Over the years, Kellerei Tramin has earned an international reputation for combining Alpine tradition, innovation, and sustainable viticulture. Its vineyards stretch across steep slopes between 250 and 850 metres above sea level, where the unique interaction between mountain climate and Mediterranean influences creates wines of remarkable elegance and character. The winery is especially celebrated for its Gewürztraminer “Nussbaumer”, considered one of South Tyrol’s iconic wines, as well as prestigious labels such as “Troy”, “Epokale”, and “Stoan”.
The winery’s striking contemporary architecture, designed by architect Werner Tscholl, perfectly reflects its philosophy: deeply rooted in tradition while looking confidently toward the future.
Kellerei Tramin offers guided tastings, cellar tours, and vineyard experiences that allow visitors to discover the wine culture of South Tyrol firsthand.
Guests can purchase the wines directly at the winery shop or conveniently through the online store.
