Eibele waterfalls circular route

South-facing hike past our wildlife park to the border town of Eibele. A visit to the Eibele waterfalls there is highly recommended. Through the Weißachtal valley back to Oberstaufen.

Past the game reserve below our resort on a beautiful hiking trail to Hinterhalden. Passing the Ponyhof restaurant, we reach the district of Eibele.

Cross this to the far end until you come to the wooden border bridge to Vorarlberg. To the right of the bridge is the Eibele waterfall - the short detour here is worthwhile. Walk a few meters back to the Krebs waterfall on the same path and at the end of the village you will reach the dam on the Weißach.

Turn left here and follow the paved path on the left side of the Weißach upstream towards the Weißach district. Shortly before the village, we turn left and walk uphill through a quarry to the vacation club in Malas. From here we take a hiking trail on the left back to Willis.
