Via Funivia, 3, Bormio
Two exhibitions tell stories of creativity and spirituality.
Starting Saturday, October 10, the Stelvio Olympic Ski Center—the new home of the Bormio Tourism Info Point—is hosting the exhibition *The Wonderful World of Aldo Peccedi*, dedicated to the brilliant inventor from Bormio, known as the “Leonardo of Bormio.” An exhibition of surprising creations made from recycled materials—from a steam-powered bicycle to a ski-making machine—will be on view through December 10.
In the Sala Colonne, the exhibition “Francesco: la voce, la terra, la storia” (Francis: The Voice, the Land, the Story) traces the life of St. Francis of Assisi, marking the 800th anniversary of his death.
Admission to both exhibitions is free.
