Drawing and Painting with Natural Materials

In this workshop, we’ll explore the creative possibilities of natural materials. Working on wooden panels, we’ll use walnut stain, graphite, black Pitt chalk, and pressed charcoal to create images layer by layer.

The natural grain of the wood gives each piece its own unique character and can serve as inspiration for shapes and lines. The warm brown color of the walnut stain, combined with the black marks left by graphite, Pitt chalk, and charcoal, creates exciting contrasts and unique visual worlds.

The workshop invites you to try out different materials, experiment creatively, and rediscover the joy of drawing and painting. The goal isn’t to draw perfectly, but to get to know the materials and let your own images emerge in a playful way.

Coolnest guests are asked to pay a materials fee of 10 euros
