Start of the culinary hike is at the tourist information Markdorf. From there, Georg Enderle of the Swabian Albverein will lead you via Steibensteg (Wirthshof farm store with fresh apple juice) to Riedheim to the farm of the Kessler family (visit to the bakery and coffee with fresh apple pie). Shortly along the village road, past the Hochkreuz chapel to the orchard meadows of the BUND. At the Gasthof Linde, the path crosses the B33 - you can rest at the Gasthof with apple delicacies (not included in the price) and from there the bus also returns to Markdorf.
The hikers then walk back to the starting point.
The route length is approx. 12 km and with good footwear in
2-3 hours walking time (without rest).
