In the archaeological open-air museum in Unser Frau, everything revolves around Ötzi, the Iceman. Visitors learn how and where Ötzi was found in 1991 and how he and his contemporaries lived 5,300 years ago. Special highlights of the exhibitions are the faithful replicas of Stone Age houses (outdoor area) and Ötzi's clothes, weapons and tools (indoor area). The tour takes about an hour (course 1). Demonstrations of Stone Age fire-making every hour on the hour. Families and fans of old craft techniques should definitely plan time for the visitor workshop and stop by the archery range and the dugout canoe jetty. (Courses 1-3, three to four hours).
