CelloMara is the solo project of singer and cellist Mara Kochendörfer, known to many from Salut Salon.
In her one-woman show, she uses her cello, voice, and loop station to create multi-layered orchestral
soundscapes that blend with powerful and poetic lyrics—spanning cinematic
art pop, neoclassical, and chanson.
As a solo artist and as a member of Salut Salon and The Dark Tenor, she has performed at
renowned venues such as the Gewandhaus in Leipzig and the Gasteig in Munich.
She has also shared the stage with international stars such as Michael Bublé, Robbie Williams, and David
Garrett.
Her music is emotional, genre-spanning, and an invitation to forge your own path.
In 2022, Mara was awarded the debut grant from the Wiesbaden Cultural Office
