Würzjoch: a paradise in the Dolomites of Val Badia

An enchanting panorama at the foot of the Peitlerkofel and the Puez-Geisler Nature Park.

The Würzjoch ("Ju de Börz" in Ladin, "Passo delle Erbe" in Italian) lies at 1,987 meters above sea level and is the only road connection between Val Badia and Valle Isarco. The pass is accessible all year round from Untermoi / Antermoia on the east side. The west side is only accessible from mid-spring to late fall from Villnöß / Val di Funes or from Brixen / Bressanone via the valleys Afers / Eores or Lüsen / Luson.
