The golfing paradise in the Austrian Alps
The Golfplatz Montafon is only a 5-minute walk away and therefore easily accessible on foot. The course has 9 beautiful and very well-maintained holes. With its six par 3s, one par 4 and two par 5s (total par 32) and its total length of 1,884 meters (3,768 meters on 18 holes), it is not the longest course, but very challenging to play.
The par 3s require an accurate game, and the two par 5s require the use of the driver, which is definitely needed here. The course is beautifully integrated into the mountain landscape and lies along the River Ill on very flat terrain. The good maintenance of the course, the interesting design and, above all, the impressive mountain scenery all around make the game interesting, challenging and "probably the most beautiful minor matter in the world".
