The striking mountain ridge at 1100 meters above sea level is a popular excursion and hiking destination for many people on cloudy days. The hilly surroundings can also be explored particularly well on snowshoes. A specially signposted and sometimes prepared route leads directly from the St. Anton restaurant in a large loop around the excursion destination. The three "Rondom trails" are also ideal for snowshoeing in good conditions.
St. Anton can be reached by post bus from Trogen or Heiden, and there are also plenty of parking spaces available.
