We hike from the Karer Pass to the Rosengarten, past ancient stone pine trees, an incomparably colorful alpine flora, rocky outcrops among which fossils such as ammonites and geodes can be found. Again and again you can hear the warning whistle of the marmots to the left and right of the path, which they emit when danger approaches. I like to tell there the legend of the queen of the marmots. With a view of the climbing wall of the Masarè and the fantastic view of the surrounding Dolomite mountains, we continue hiking to the Paolina hut. From there to the Masarè hut, where you can have a late lunch if you wish. Afterwards we go back to the Karer Pass on the beautiful path [552]. Return to Nova Levante by bus.
