Aggenstein 1985 m - guided hike

Hike from the Hotel am Bergpfad along the mountain trail toward the Bad Kissinger Hütte. From the hut, it’s not far to the summit. The final stretch is only for hikers who are sure-footed and have a head for heights; there’s a short scramble section with a chain. Return to the hut; after a snack, descend into the valley. You can also choose to hike only as far as the hut. Hike from the hotel along the mountain trail to the Bad Kissinger Hut. After a break at the hut, descend into the valley.

Meeting point: Hike starting point in front of the hotel

Walking time: 5 hours

Elevation gain: 900

Difficulty: Steep mountain trail, partially secured with ropes; sure-footedness and a head for heights required!

Ankle-high hiking boots, hiking clothing, backpack, rain gear, sunglasses, sunscreen, water.

Free rental of hiking maps, rain ponchos, and hiking poles at the front desk. You can purchase a water bottle for €5 at the front desk.
