Ex-fox crook Nick Wilde (original voice: Jason Bateman / German voice: Florian Halm) and rookie policewoman Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin / Josefine Preuß) have solved the biggest case in the history of Zoomania to date and now want to continue their unusual collaboration as new partners. But this is far from a sure-fire success and the two of them are at odds with each other. Chief Bogo (Idris Elba / Oliver Stritzel) therefore sends the two of them to the "Partners in Crisis" therapy program. But it doesn't take long for the duo to stumble straight into a real case and their next adventure. The venomous snake Gary De'Snake (Ke Huy Quan / Rick Kavanian) appears in the animal metropolis and causes chaos and panic, as such a dangerous reptile has not been seen in the city for many years. Nick and Judy want to find out what it's all about and have to go on a dangerous undercover mission into corners of Zoomania that even they don't know about.by chance, Ida finds out that the Winterstein School is to be closed. In the upcoming school challenge, Ida, her class and the animal companions recognize their last chance to save the school and thus the magical community.
