Horse racing

Every Sunday you can enjoy the experience of a horse race on one of the most beautiful racecourses in Europe. One hour before the race starts, you have the opportunity of a guided tour through the racecourse. The exact start time of the races is updated 48 hours before the race day. Guest tickets for discounted admission are available at the reception.

Located in the heart of the Alps, in the beautiful and famous spa and thermal town of Merano, the “Mais” racecourse is unique. The facility was opened in 1935. In the same year, the Merano Grand Prix also had its premiere.
