Guided hike to the Karseggalm on October 13, 2026

Together with our hiking guide Marianne, we’ll head to the oldest alpine hut in the Großarl Valley—a truly special place for over 400 years. With no electricity, a clay floor, and a crackling fire, you’ll feel as if you’ve been transported to another era. Even today, the typical sour cheese of the Großarl Valley is prepared in a copper kettle over the open hearth. And a true rarity awaits you: smoked kneaded cheese—a specialty you’ll only find here.
