Affenberg Landskron

Nature experience up close:

At the monkey mountain near Landskron Castle, you can experience Japanese macaques up close and almost as if they were in the wild.

On a guided tour, you walk through the middle of the large outdoor enclosure and observe the monkeys up close - without any cages. The guides tell exciting stories about the animals' behavior and their habitat.

📍 Travel time from Seecamping Berghof: only approx. 10 minutes

Opening times:

Open daily from the end of March to the beginning of November

Tours start regularly (every 20-60 minutes, depending on how busy it is) and last approx. 45 minutes

💡 Tip:

It's best to plan a little more time - there's a large playground, snacks and great walking trails around the monkey mountain. All in all, it's worth spending around 2-3 hours.

Dogs are not allowed in the enclosure, but there are separate "dog suites" on site
