Description
This special time of year—"from Halloween to St. Martin's Goose"—is steeped in ancient customs, myths, and symbols that are similar across many cultures around the world and had already held a firm place in the annual cycle long before the Celts, Romans, and Christians.
These are fairy-tale days at the Wirthshof,
so we’ll be taking a very close look at the symbolism in the fairy tale “Frau Holle” all the way through the story of Saint Martin.
This lecture series invites you to view the customs, symbols, and female role models of the season from a new perspective.

Good to know:
- There’s usually a related activity in the weekly program. Check the course schedule!
- Dates for the inspirational talks: approximately every 7 weeks
What it’s all about:
Perceiving the energy of the season.
Making space for experiencing nature throughout the annual cycle.
Because traditions and rituals that have lost their significance in today’s everyday life hold the potential for reflection, awareness—and connection.
