Waal hike to the castle ruins Obermontani and viewpoint Broatraschgl

We take the hotel bus to the Latscher Bierkeller and hike from here up to the Obermontani castle and the St. Stephan castle chapel. We follow the Waalrundweg, cross the Plima and then climb up to the viewpoint Broatraschgl. From here we enjoy the fantastic view over the valley and the castles. Then we descend again to the weather cross located above Morter. In earlier centuries, these crosses with 3 crossbeams were erected by farmers who hoped for heavenly protection from lightning, storms and hailstorms.

Below the old castle ruins we finally return to the starting point of our tour.
