Lake hike to the waterfalls of the Tannheimer Tal

Do you already know all the lakes in the Tannheimer Tal? We don't think so.

We set off together from the parking lot at the post office in Schattwald. We reach our first stop after about 1 hour via a beautiful mountain trail. This mountain lake is beautifully hidden and perfect for our first stop.

We continue via a beautiful chapel and through woods and meadows to our second lake. Here we arrive in the nature reserve. Let's enjoy the path along the shore and after about 2 hours we come to the waterfalls.

And then enjoy a picnic right on the lakeshore and let your mind wander. What a treat.

From here, depending on your fitness level, you can either walk back to the starting point via a high trail or take the bus.
