The villa was built in 1912 by Raymund von Fugger, on the hill overlooking the valley of the Rot. The result was a country manor house, in style pluralism with skilfully mixed baroque, classicist and art nouveau elements.
Today the Museum Villa Rot is an exhibition house for international contemporary art with an intercultural program. Individual and group exhibitions are shown that deal with the content-related and formal border areas of art, culture and society.
Opening hours during the exhibitions: Wed - Sat: 2 - 5 pm Sun and Ft.: 11 - 17 o'clock
