Lymphatic drainage - MLD - A gentle, medical massage technique for decongesting the tissue. Circular movements stimulate lymphatic drainage and reduce swelling (oedema) caused by injuries, operations or lymphatic disorders. Rhythmic movements with pressure and relaxation phases, without oil, usually in the direction of the lymph nodes.
