Mountain hike via the Kasererscharte to the Frauenwand and back through the Weitental with Conny

Following the Hintertux Glacier—Hike to the Kasererscharte

We take Glacier Bus 1 to the Sommerbergalm, where we begin our hike to the Kasererscharte. We then follow the trail along the ridge up to the summit of the Weiße Wand.

During a leisurely break, we enjoy the magnificent view of the Tuxer Ferner. Afterward, we hike through the Weitental valley to the Schleierwasserfall. From here, we may continue on to the Bichlalm, where we’ll enjoy the view of the Hintertux Glacier while having a light snack and fresh buttermilk.

Tour details:

🚶↔ Hiking tour: approx. 5 hours

🏔️↑ Elevation gain: approx. 700 hm, ↓ Elevation loss: approx. 1100

🥾 🥾Difficulty: moderate❗️Sure-footedness, a head for heights, and good stamina required!

Equipment: sturdy, ankle-high hiking boots, a spare T-shirt, water bottles, sunscreen, a snack, a rain/wind jacket, and cash for refreshments.

🍽️Refreshment stops: Tuxerjochhaus from July through September, Bichlalm from mid-May

- Transportation costs will be charged on a pro-rata basis. There are 8 seats available on our hotel bus. If the bus is already full, please follow us in your own car.
