Startingfrom thetourist information in Igls, the destination is a very special place located above Igls "Heiligwasser" with its great view over the city of Innsbruck. The way back leads along the Eiskanal Igls (Olympic bobsleigh- toboggan run) where with a little luck athletes can be observed during their training or race.
Facts:
Public arrival: free journey to Igls with the Welcome Card by bus J - stop Igls-Ortsmitte.
Suitable for: Families and leisurely beginners
Walking time without optional stop: approx. 4h (including 1.5h uphill)
Ascent: approx. 400 hm | Descent: approx. 400 hm
Cancellation in case of bad weather
