Breakfast & Inspiration With a Bite—A Closer Look at Pet Food

Tanja and Johanna invite you to a discussion on good food for dogs and cats

Do you know what’s in your pet food?

“Yes,” you’ll say, “it’s right there on the label.” That’s true.

Bring your dog or cat food to this breakfast.

Tanja and Johanna will tell you what’s written on the can—and what

’s really inside. Where are the hidden clauses? What does

“complete and balanced diet” actually mean? What’s hidden behind the term “animal

by-products”? Why do cats especially love the jelly in their food?

Is it true that cats “rub” or brush their teeth on dry food?

Tanja and Johanna have learned from their own pets what makes for

species-appropriate food, and they’d love to share that knowledge with you.
