Fireplace in the living room

Instructions for use:

Place two larger logs parallel to the right and left sides of the fireplace (not from the front to the back).

Place a few pine cones in between (stash in the chest on the balcony) and 1 or 2 soaked corks from the jar to the left of the fire.

Cross 2 pieces of wood over the two parallel pieces.

Open the fireplace - slide the metal rod upwards and hang it on the right side of the fire towards the chimney.

Change the iron lever below the front of the fire from "CLOSED" to "OPEN". Front iron lever - "OPEN" position means: Set the key-shaped lever to vertical.

Light the fire.

WARNING: In stormy weather and wind, the smoke can blow back into the room - avoid lighting the fire under these conditions.

If it is cold in the house - unlikely! - there is a switch to the left of the fire near the 3-plug socket. As soon as the fire is hot, this switch activates a fan that blows warm air into the room via the gray grilles in the mantelpiece, above and to the right of the fire. A red light will illuminate on the switch when it is activated. When you use it, don't forget to turn it off.
