Krummbach valley

A very special stop awaits you on your winter hike: the cozy Prölleralm!

Start at the Isskogel valley station and take a relaxed stroll along the road along the Gerlosbach stream to the Gerlos toboggan run. From there, the path leads uphill to the left to Gasthof Almstüberl, where you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the Schönachtal valley.

Follow the path further, cross the Krummbach descent and walk along the goods road to the "Prölleralm" junction. Now a gently ascending path leads uphill for around 30 minutes - and you will reach the rustic ski hut with a large sun terrace, perfect for a winter break.

Note: The Krummbachrast is closed in winter.

Walking time: approx. 2 hours (there & back)

Recommendation: sturdy winter shoes - it can be slippery
