Habkern - Building and playing the alphorn

A unique experience awaits you in Habkern village...

A Bernatone alphorn is made exclusively from local spruce wood from the mountain forests of Habkern. From the raw tree trunk to the finished instrument, the wood is processed and refined by the Tschiemer family. Take a look at this ancient craftsmanship and try out a few notes on this wonderful musical instrument!
