Camping Residence Sägemühle
Experience a moving evening at the cinema with the documentary "The Sunken Village", which tells the tragic story of the village of Graun on Lake Reschen. In the 1940s, the idyllic village was flooded by a state reservoir project - all that remained was the famous sunken church tower, which still rises out of the water today.
The film takes viewers on an emotional journey: Through touching individual portraits of the former residents, the theme of home and loss of home becomes tangible, and it shows how the disappearance of a village changed the lives of its people forever.
A film by Georg Lembergh and Hansjörg Stecher, free screening
