One focus is on the structure of the tree crown: the correct crown structure is the basis for a stable crown, a long tree life and regular yields. On the other hand, the thinning of large-crowned fruit trees is dealt with theoretically and later practiced in the practical part. It also deals with the question of how the fruit tree reacts to pruning measures at different times, proper pruning, the right choice of tools and their care. Wound and bark treatment during the vegetation phase is also taught in a practical way. Individual questions from participants, e.g. on the choice of variety and location, planting and training pruning, pest treatment, etc. will be answered.\n\nThe course begins at 10 am with a theoretical part (until 1 pm). After a lunch break, the practical part continues until 5 pm.
