Trekking excursion - Schiazzera Lakes and Mount of the Cross

Monte della Croce is a very interesting and very panoramic peak over Media Valtellina and the surrounding Adamello and Ortles-Cevedale mountain groups.

It is reached by a loop trail starting from the Schiazzera Refuge and following a section of the Sentiero Italia, which also takes us to the beautiful Schiazzera Lakes. In their waters reflect the peaks of the Saiento Valley, particularly Mount Masuccio.

From the summit we then descend directly to the Refuge.

Meeting time and place: 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Church of San Sebastiano, Frazione Rogorbello - Vervio

Notes: packed lunch

Each hike will be done with a minimum of 6 people.

Registration for each hike is mandatory and must be done by 4 p.m. the day before the outing.

It is the guide's discretion to modify/cancel the hike in case of particularly bad weather conditions. It is recommended that participants bring all necessary equipment for the day (food, drinks, clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, own medications etc.).
