With its unique atmosphere and exceptionally idyllic panoramic setting, the Enzianhütte offers hikers, cyclists, and leisure travelers a welcoming place to stop and enjoy a variety of delicacies, delicious refreshments, and a spacious sun terrace with spectacular mountain views: From Reith to the Inn Valley, to the mountain panorama of the Nockspitze and Axamer Lizum, to the Rangger Köpfl, and all the way to the Rosskogl.
During the freezing winter months, a crackling fireplace also warms the wood-paneled dining room. You definitely shouldn’t miss out on a hearty Brettljausn and the homemade apple strudel here.
STARTING POINT
Perched above the picturesque Reith Auland, the Enzian Hütte now shines in all its new splendor. The old hut burned down on a freezing November night; only through a great deal of passion and dedication was the cozy character of the hut faithfully restored through loving woodwork and craftsmanship. From Seefeld, you can reach the hut via a beautiful route through Wildsee or by taking a hiking loop around the Gschwandtkopf and through Mösern. From the Reith train station, it’s a leisurely and enjoyable walk through the Auland to the Enzian Hut.
