With a new concept and design and following renovation of the listed museum building, the German Shoe Museum is once again opening its doors to visitors from near and far!
The permanent exhibition has a new look. Discover the exciting diversity of shoes: shoe history, shoe production, shoe trade, shoe advertising, celebrity shoes, style icons and much more. Many new exhibits and photographic documents are on display, numerous German shoe manufacturers are portrayed and the shoe is honored as a fashion statement. The dark sides of the shoe industry of yesterday and today are also the subject of the new presentation.
